According to Hindu
legends, there are many stories, which tell about Lord Shiva, who is also known
as ‘Rudra.’ He is the most popular for being the personification of power of
obliteration in an eternal cycle of creation, destruction, and maintenance. It
is said that once Lord Shiva entered in deep level of meditation to get
solution over the problem faced by many Gods from a very long time. Ultimately,
when he got the solution he opened his eyes, he expressed solution through his
holy tears that ran down on his cheek and fell on earth, which generated a
Rudraksha tree.
Rudraksha word in fact, comes from two Sanskrit words rudra -
Lord Shiva’s synonym, and aksha means eyes. As per Botany, Rudraksha tree is
famous as Elaeocarpus Ganitrus Roxb. These trees develop in very some places in
the world containing Nepal and Himalayas, also some parts of Indonesia. Numbers
of Hindu scriptures written in various periods of history define sacred
qualities that are available in every bead. One fascinating element of
Rudraksha lore is that it is worn and worshipped surely by each one
irrespective of religion, color, creed, sect, sex, or caste.
Usually, one who wear
and worships Rudraksha in suggested manner will appeal the Lord Shiva’s
energies and bad emotions and thoughts will be vanished. It has no bad effects
and endorses prosperity and peace of mind for the complete family resided at
the place where Rudraksha has been worshipped.
