usages in jewelry, Green Aventurine is also utilized for ornamental purposes
such as figurines, bowls, and vases. Green Aventurine is majorly found in
Chile, Brazil, Russia, Spain, Tanzania, and Austria. It is a 6.5 on Mohs scale
of rigidity. This mineral is frequently mistaken for jade or amazonite. It is
amazing that the name for the gemstone is originated from an accident.
Somewhere in 18th century, Venetian glass worker were making molten
glass when copper filings unintentionally drop in the batch generating a glass
with sparkles. The Aventurine name came from the Italian “a ventura” that means
“by chance.”
