Lord Ganesha – A Faith For Good Luck & Fortune


Ganesha is the son of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati. He is considered as the divine power that guides us to the path of success, prosperity and wisdom. It has believed that regular worship of this deity power destroys all evil or negative power from our surroundings, as it is one of the five prime deities of Hindu.

Importance of Lord Ganesha:
The head of Lord Ganesha represents the soul, which holds the ultimate power or energy in any human body. The trunk of the deity symbolizes ‘OM’, which has its power and considered as the most powerful and scared word in Hindu custom. The goad in right hand of the lord symbolizes the eternal path and guides the human to the path of wisdom as well as success and noose in the left hand is for removing all difficulties. The broken tusk of deity represents scarifies. The rosary in other hand of Ganesha is a symbol of knowledge where as laddoo is for discovering the sweetness in our inner-self.
Lord Ganesha is considered as the power that destroys pride, vanity and selfishness. In Hindu tradition, any kind of worship starts with the name of this deity and ends at his name. The festival termed as Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most famous festival that has been celebrated since ages to glorify the lord and to get his blessings to bring loads of good luck, fortune and success.
